I didn't read the whole article but i think they shouldn't toy with something that's not a 100% certain. I'm on the side of the opposers not so much cause i think it would bring the end of the world but because it could be harmful to the environment and the echo system. But the idea is amazing it's something you would find in science fiction movies. I didn't think they were this eager to find out how the universe came into being and the sad news is that they still wouldn't know. I think it's a huge waste of money but who knows maybe they'll discover something useful in the process.
p.s: i just saw the 2012 movie trailer. Neat! but 2012 is so close the movie is going to feel real. Have you noticed the latest movies are now more focused on making it look real? esp the Sci-fi ones like "cloverfield" and "District 9"...It's going to be a great movie season cause they're back to making sc-fies in such a long time. I'm looking forward to watch "Avatar".

Yesterday i heard people talking on the streets about the world coming to an end in 2012 and i didn't know how serious people were about that until then, i personally think it's pretty silly and was wondering where the whole fuss originated and the article above answered all my questions.
