I felt violated after watching 2012

intrepid-ab's picture

I have seen a lot, i mean a loooooooot of BAD movies in my time. I believe that 2012 tops everything including RoboCop.

I mean, have u guys seen the dude? he escaped world damnation in a freakin Limo! and they managed to play with an Antonov 500 like its a kite.

I felt violated, undermined and my intelligence was questioned.

So my message here is please, Please, please dont let ur kids or anyone you know watch that movie. and anyone who recommends it to u have something against you.

Thanks for the heads up, you just saved me 40 bucks Smiling

On a similar note, I usually like animation movies but I once felt utterly stupid after watching Bee Movie. The same thing was repeated with Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Can I dare speculate that movie makers are running out of ideas/creativity/juice?

.... really?

intrepid I will see it

intrepid I will see it tonight cause
1. I liked the trailer and wanna see the special effects
2. I know ppl who njoyed it
Tommy I liked both Bee movie and Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. They both were enjoyable/funny/silly(in an entertaining way) kids' flicks.

guys you need a new mantra

guys you need a new mantra in the cinema

"It's just a movie"

don't read too much into it. It's not this world on the screen, not this 2012 and not the same bee in your tea Smiling

I am as busy as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest

I agree with whizo and cyan.

I agree with whizo and cyan. I'm not a movie critique, I'm there to be entertained. A movie is supposed to be an escape from reality it's not supposed to resemble it entirely. In fact for me the further away the better, that's why i like sci-fi movies. I plan to watch 2012, I'm very excited about it.

escape from

escape from reality!?!?

Harry potter is an escape from reality, Lord of the rings is an escape from reality, star wars is an escape from reality - if i could ask the director to give me back my money and time i wasted on that 'Movie' i will. There is no way that is interesting or entertaining. I pay to be entertained - that was an insulting movie. If i want to be insulted i would go to see an Amharic movie.

I see what you mean now.

I see what you mean now. You've made your point clear with the 'amharic movies'. So it's that bad huh?
The movie may suck but as long as it's got neat special effects, which i think it does,I know I'm going to enjoy watching it on the big screen. Thanks for the heads up though.
