Funny and Wierd names, places, brands etc...
In one single day, I have to process huge amounts of ... nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, and all the other English/Amharic words whose classification I forgot. I am sure you do too. Some of them are funny, others are weird, and some are cool. so I hereby dedicate this paper (...sorry, thread) to them
My recent favorite - a name of a famous Computer Scientist - Niklaus Wirth. Europeans correctly pronounce his name as 'Neek-loss Veert' and Americans pronounce it as 'Nickel's Worth'. He says Americans call him by value while Europeans call him by name.
What...? You would have found it funnier if you did some programming.
