So U know Facebook right? It is one of the most famous community websites out there. Don't get me wrong. I love the site. I think it is much better than hi5 and Myspace. It has enabled me to catch up with old friends and find new ones. One thing I hate about it is the I am a fan feature. For instance, I have seen ppl becoming
fans of enjera and drinks. Do we expect enjera to feel honored if we are its fan? How can U be a fan of an
inanimate object? Hod yifejew. even when it comes to ppl, it is not the real ppl who make the pages but rather some fans.I became a fan of Idan Raichel to tell him that I loved his last show and to ask him if he can come here
again for a second show but the page was filled with fans who don't know him physically so my effort was all in vain. It enables fans to talk about the artist and all but the site is generally not suitable for forum purposes. Facebook has also other issues like applications running who give your personal info to other ppl and hackers adding U as friends and stealing Ur account information. I think AU is much more better than Facebook cause it has forums, music, videos and other features too. The chat section on Facebook rox
but U have to be somebody's friend to talk to him which is kinda double sided. It is good that U can filter and talk only to a friend but it also sux that U can't talk to a stranger and make him/her your friend. What do U guys think about Facebook?
