Chrome OS Open Source

The much anticipated beta release of the cloud based operating system Google Chrome is months away, but there is good news just around the corner.
Google just made the early code of this OS available to allow external developers the same privileges as it's internal counterparts. The code along with it's documentation is available now.
The OS includes Chrome browser type features like application tabs and all data is stored on the online cloud. It's hardware uses complete solid state flash memory and selected wireless cards so users will have to buy these netbooks designed for the OS. It will not support other browsers by default.
