Amazing Application - PhotoSketch

A new program called PhotoSketch built by five Chinese students at Tsinghua University and the National University of Singapore, is said to be able to turn a rough labeled sketch into a photograph montage!

According to authors, their software finds images corresponding to each drawn element, judge which are a better match to the shapes, and then seamlessly merge it all into one single image.
Truly amazing! I am having a hard time believing that it actually works and I couldn't test it as the server hosting the application collapsed due to the huge traffic the news generated. What do you think?

It appears too good to be true. But I looked at the video and the the whole thing seems feasible. The video says the search is done on the internet. It seems that the efficacy of the search depends on the subjects and the text labels you choose. Anyhoo, I will be looking into the algorithms mentioned.
